OCHH Mission Statement

The Oregon Coalition on Housing and Homelessness is a statewide coalition of individuals and organizations working together as a force of change, dedicated to ending homelessness and increasing affordable housing.

OCHH Case Statement

The goal of the Oregon Coalition on Housing and Homelessness is to eliminate homelessness in Oregon.  In establishing this goal, OCHH understands the causes of homelessness are complex and the provision of related services is as critical as providing shelter if homelessness is to be eliminated.  The solution OCHH seeks includes both providing a secure and affordable housing for all people in Oregon and establishing the systems to address the problems of economic distress and dislocation, cultural and language barriers, under-employment, mental illness, developmental disabilities, domestic and sexual violence, alcohol and drug abuse, malnutrition and other underlying causes of homelessness.
