Friends of the Oregon Coalition on Housing and Homelessness,

The Oregon Coalition on Housing and Homelessness (OCHH) has been at the forefront of advocacy for homeless individuals and families since 1987.  Our efforts have been enhanced in the past year by our new staff person, website and office in Salem.

Your membership at this time will help to ensure that the advocacy, training opportunities, information and referral network, and other service provider support that OCHH provides will continue.

In April 2003, OCHH will sponsor its 16th annual statewide training conference.  This conference will feature keynote speakers from important national and state homeless advocacy organizations, as well as seminar and workshop presenters on subjects such as civil rights, housing, case management, education, health, and prevention of homelessness.  This Hood River Inn event draws 250 people together annually.

As a member of OCHH, you will receive:
Ø Reduced registration fees for OCHH conferences
Ø Representation and advocacy on homeless issues at the legislature
Ø Networking on homelessness and affordable housing issues
Ø Action alerts; website updates; informative announcements

Revised membership rates:
Ø $125.00 = Agency (annual budget more than $2million)
Ø   $50.00 = Grassroots (annual budget less than $2million)
Ø   $35.00 = Individual (monthly income more than $1,400)
Ø   $10.00 = Low income/homeless (monthly income less than $1,400)

Please become a member, or renew your past  membership, with the Oregon Coalition on Housing and Homelessness today.  Your membership fees and participation will help ensure OCHH can continue its work: “as a ‘Force of Change’ dedicated to ending homelessness and increasing affordable housing options in Oregon.”
